4. What are the eligibility criteria for courses at QD Academy?

To be eligible for QD Academy’s training courses, individuals must meet criteria including age, computer literacy, educational qualifications, work experience, understanding of sales and marketing principles, and English language proficiency.

Funding and Grants

1. What kind of grants or subsidies are available for your training courses?

Our courses are SkillsFuture registered. Please note that the grants will be differ depending on your age, citizenship status, individually sponsored or company sponsored.

2. Are there any funding options available for course fees at QD Academy?

Yes, QD Academy offers various funding options including SkillsFuture funding, Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS), and Absentee Payroll (AP) funding for eligible individuals and organizations.

3. How do I apply for Absentee Payroll (AP) funding for training courses at QD Academy?

There is no need to apply separately for AP funding. It is automatically computed and deducted from the course fee. Employers need to declare their employees’ hourly salary information to claim AP funding.

4. Can SkillsFuture Credit be used to offset course fees at QD Academy?

Yes, eligible Singaporeans can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fees at QD Academy by submitting a claim through MySkillsFuture.

5. How are payments and grants handled?

Ensure course fees are fully paid before attendance. Grants are disbursed via PayNow. Track attendance and assessment for grant disbursement.

6. What funding options are available for payment?

Use Initial SkillsFuture Credit and Additional Credit for course payments. Provide a screenshot for SkillsFuture Credit approval. Please note that Singapore PRs aren’t eligible for mid-career subsidy funding.

Attendance and Certificates

1. What if I miss a class?

You may attend a makeup class within 60 days from the start date of the first class session. However, starting from January 1, 2024, SSG no longer requires a minimum 75% attendance for course fee funding and absentee payroll funding.

2. Is there a minimum attendance requirement?

No, starting from January 1, 2024, SSG no longer requires a minimum 75% attendance for course fee funding and absentee payroll funding. However, attending all of our sessions enhances learning and performance in assessments.

3. Where can I access my certificate upon completion?

Certificates are issued via OpenCerts starting July 1, 2024. Access them through the MySkillsFuture portal.

Skills Future and Other Programs

1. What is SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) and how can I use it at QD Academy?

SkillsFuture Credit is a benefit for Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above to pay for out-of-pocket course fees for work-skills related courses. You can use it at QD Academy by submitting a claim through MySkillsFuture.

2. How do I check my SkillsFuture Credit balance?

You can log in to your SkillsFuture Credit account at MySkillsFuture to check your balance.

3. When must I submit my claim for SkillsFuture Credit for a course at QD Academy?

You should submit your claim via MySkillsFuture within 60 days before the course start date (inclusive).

4. What is SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) and who is eligible for it?

SFEC is aimed at encouraging employers to invest in enterprise and workforce transformation. Employers meeting specific criteria such as contributions to Skills Development Levy (SDL) and employing Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible.

Yes, QD Academy is a registered training provider in Singapore, offering courses aligned with the national SkillsFuture movement.

7. What is the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ)?

WSQ is a national credential system that trains, develops, assesses, and certifies skills and competencies for the workforce, supporting the SkillsFuture movement.

CRM Solutions FAQ

1. What exactly is ActiveCampaign, and how does it operate?

ActiveCampaign serves as a Customer Experience Automation Platform that empowers businesses to interact efficiently with their customer base through automation. It integrates email marketing, marketing automation, CRM, and machine learning to deliver personalized experiences.

2. Is technical expertise necessary to utilize ActiveCampaign effectively?

No, ActiveCampaign does not require technical proficiency. It offers pre-built automations, eliminating the need for coding skills. Additionally, support is readily available through the Help Center and customer support channels.

3. Could you explain the workings of the free trial, and is there an option to extend it?

The free trial period spans 14 days and provides access to features equivalent to the Professional tier. It permits usage for up to 100 contacts and 100 sent emails. If necessary, you may request a one-time extension by contacting your account executive or support team.

4. What are the pricing structures for ActiveCampaign?

5. Does ActiveCampaign offer landing page creation capabilities?

6. Does ActiveCampaign function as a CRM, and does it facilitate migration services?

ActiveCampaign incorporates a CRM tailored for small to medium-sized businesses. Migration services are available, encompassing tasks such as importing lists, recreating forms and automations, and email templates.

7. Can custom fonts be utilized in campaigns, and how does ActiveCampaign monitor email opens?

While custom fonts are an option, it’s generally discouraged. Email opens are tracked via embedded images in HTML-based campaigns. Opens cannot be tracked for plain text emails.

10. Am I eligible for the PSG grant as a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) owner?

SME owners with at least 30% local shareholding are eligible for the PSG grant. Our Sales Consultant can guide you through the application process on the Business Grant portal.

11. What documents do I need for a PSG grant application with QuickDesk?

For a swift application process, prepare the following documents: Quotation for QD Academy implementation, Past 2 Years Financial Statement (if applicable), CorpPass User and Password.

12. I'm a Sole Proprietor. Can I still apply for the PSG grant for ActiveCampaign with QD Academy?

Yes, Sole Proprietors are eligible for the PSG grant when implementing solutions like QD Academy.

13. Is reimbursement guaranteed for the PSG grant with QD Academy?

While we cannot guarantee reimbursement, you’ll know the status of your application once it’s submitted online. Upon approval, specific documents including invoices and usage reports will be required for reimbursement.

14. Do I only pay 50% of the project fee to QuickDesk if I receive the PSG grant?

You’re required to make full payment to QD Academy. The PSG reimbursement follows after. Manage your cash flow accordingly, as the project timeline may span several months.

15. Can I wait for IMDA approval before paying QD Academy?

Yes, you can wait for the Letter of Offer before making any payments to QD Academy. Work commences upon receipt of the deposit.*

16. What's the estimated timeline for implementing QD Academy?

The timeline depends on your project’s complexity and design preferences. Contact us for a consultation to discuss your project specifics.

17. Can I add extra features to my ActiveCampaign implementation under the PSG package?

The PSG package cannot be modified, but additional features can be quoted separately by QD Academy and invoiced separately from the PSG project.

18. How does a company become certified as an IMDA Pre-Approved Solutions Vendor like QD Academy?

IMDA and Enterprise Singapore conduct rigorous auditing and evaluation of solution packages and track records before certifying vendors. This ensures quality and credibility in digital solutions.*

Hiring Solutions FAQ

1. What are Career Conversion Programmes (CCPs)?

CCPs provide salary support to facilitate mid-career individuals’ reskilling and transition into new job roles with promising longer-term prospects.

2. How many modes of CCPs are there?

CCPs include Place-and-Train (PnT), Attach-and-Train (AnT), and Job Redesign (JR) Reskilling.

3. Who is eligible for CCPs?

CCPs are targeted at Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents (SC/PR) mid-career switchers with at least 2 years of post-graduation or post-National Service (NS) experience.

4. What are the eligibility criteria for mid-career individuals participating in CCPs?

Eligibility criteria for mid-career individuals include:

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Minimum 21 years old.
Graduated or completed National Service, with at least 2 years of experience.
Commitment to full-time employment or attachment in a participating company.
Transition to substantially different job roles or growth job roles identified under Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs)/Jobs Transformation Maps (JTMs).
Not being shareholders or immediate ex-staff of participating companies, nor related to their owners.

5. What is the structure and duration of CCPs?

CCPs generally involve structured On-the-Job (OJT) training and external training, lasting between 3 to 6 months depending on program and job requirements.

6. Will CCP trainees be placed into jobs after program completion?

Host employers are encouraged to offer employment to eligible trainees post-program completion. Program Partners may also assist in sourcing employment opportunities.

7. How can mid-career individuals apply for CCPs?

Interested individuals can apply through the CCP website, and shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews.

8. Can individuals with employment gaps apply for CCPs?

Individuals with a continuous employment gap of at least 2 years prior to CCP commencement may apply for job roles similar to their previous roles, subject to additional documentation requirements.

9. What are the eligibility criteria for participating employers?

Eligibility criteria for participating employers include:

Registered or incorporated in Singapore.
Ability to offer full-time employment or attachment positions directly relevant to identified CCP job occupations.
Commitment to CCP training arrangements.
Collaboration with Workforce Singapore (WSG) or its appointed partner on necessary administrative matters.

10. Are SMEs eligible for CCPs?

Yes, SMEs are eligible if they meet the criteria outlined for participating employers.

11. How can employers sign up for CCPs?

Employers can explore available CCPs on the CCP portal and register interest accordingly.

12. What happens if the CCP participant's salary exceeds the salary support cap?

Employers will still receive salary support subject to existing funding rates and salary support caps, even if the participant’s salary exceeds the cap.

13. What hiring solutions do you provide?
