Effective Business Negotiation with DISC

A lot of negotiation failures aren’t caused by poor tactics — they’re caused by personality misalignment. DISC gives you a clear framework to understand how different people approach conflict, decision-making, and persuasion. The result? Smoother deals, stronger influence, and better outcomes across the table.

Learn Effective Business Negotiation with DISC

This three-day course equips professionals with essential negotiation and influence skills using the DISC personality framework. Across 24 hours of learning, including a personalized DISC profile, participants will learn to read behavioral cues, adapt their approach to different personality types, and lead negotiations with greater clarity, control, and confidence. The result: stronger outcomes, reduced friction, and deeper stakeholder alignment.

What is the DISC Personality Framework?

diagram disc 1The DISC framework is a behavioral profiling tool that identifies four core communication styles — each with its own approach to decision-making, collaboration, and conflict.

How Does DISC Help Leaders?

DISC helps leaders recognize and adapt to the decision-making styles, communication triggers, and conflict responses of the people they’re negotiating with — whether it’s clients, colleagues, or cross-functional stakeholders.

For example, a leader might notice that a Dominant “D” profile responds well to direct, results-oriented proposals — while a Steady “S” profile may need reassurance, predictability, and time to process. A Conscientious “C” profile might want details, logic, and data, while an Influence “I” profile may prioritize personal connection and enthusiasm.

Understanding your own DISC profile is just as important. If you’re naturally an “I” type, you may be inclined to focus on energy and rapport — which works with some, but not all. By spotting both your blind spots and the other party’s priorities, you’ll negotiate more effectively, avoid missteps, and close with greater confidence.

Your team's creativity and ingenuity in designing the team-building program and Treasure Hunt were evident throughout. The experience was not only enjoyable but also fostered meaningful connections among our team members. We eagerly anticipate future collaborations.

Jessica Tan

HR & Admin, Kenwood Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd

What I liked best about the Enneagram workshop I have gone through with Mind Evolve is that they ask our people to speak about their life through their Enneagram Types and that helps me see how each Enneagram Types’ traits look like in real life. Now I can understand why certain people behave in certain ways using the lens of the Enneagram.

Jia Yi

Deputy Director, CPF Board (Finance and Procurement Group)

We commend your team's meticulous organization and flawless coordination that contributed to the
resounding success of our event. Despite last-minute changes, your professionalism shone through, resulting in
flawless showmanship that was appreciated by all. A job truly well done!
