To choose an AI sales course in Singapore, check that learners practise on their own sales situation, that the trainers sell or manage sales themselves, that the course has an SSG reference ID and a clear funding route, and that the entry requirements match your team. Ask every provider the same questions and compare the answers.
This guide gives you the checklist, then shows how our own course measures up. We are a provider, so judge our answers the same way you judge anyone else’s. For background on what AI can do in a sales team, start with our practical guide to AI for sales.
What should an AI sales course teach?
A good AI sales course covers the whole sales process instead of a single tool: finding and researching prospects, writing and following up, forecasting and setting targets, and coaching. Learners should do each task with their own sales material, and the course should cover the rules that apply in Singapore.
Look for these topics in the outline:
- Lead generation. Building a target list from an ideal customer profile and researching accounts.
- Outreach. Writing personalised emails and messages and planning follow-up.
- Sales analysis. Turning past sales and competitor information into targets and decisions.
- Coaching. Practising objection handling and developing a team.
- Rules and safeguards. The PDPA, Do Not Call and Spam Control Act points that affect outreach, and what data to keep out of AI tools.
A course that only demonstrates a chatbot gives a sales team little to take back to work.
How do you compare AI sales courses?
Compare courses on the same criteria: how much of the class is hands-on, who teaches it, how funding and paperwork work, what certification you receive, the class size, the entry requirements and what you take away. The table gives the question to ask for each one.
| Criterion | What to look for | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Hands-on practice | Learners build something for their own work during class | What will I have built by the end of the course? |
| Trainer background | Trainers who sell, manage sales or run businesses | What sales experience do the trainers have, and can I see their profiles? |
| Funding | A published SSG course reference ID and a clear list of funding routes | What is the course reference ID, and which subsidies can I use? |
| Grant paperwork | A provider that explains eligibility and handles the application | Who prepares the claim, and what do I need to submit? |
| Certification | A recognised statement of attainment or certificate with stated conditions | What do I need to complete to receive it? |
| Class size | Small enough for the trainer to see each learner’s work | How many learners are in a class? |
| Entry requirements | Requirements that match your team | What background does the course assume? |
| Take-away material | Templates, prompts or a workflow you can reuse | What do I keep after the course? |
Is an AI sales course in Singapore funded?
Courses that carry an SSG course reference ID can be eligible for SkillsFuture funding, but the amount depends on the course, the learner and the employer. Check the reference ID on MySkillsFuture, then ask the provider which subsidies apply to you.
For our own course, eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs can receive an SSG subsidy of up to 70% on the course fee and can use SkillsFuture Credit and NTUC UTAP. Employers can use SFEC offsets of up to 90% and Absentee Payroll funding. The course page lists the current fee and eligibility, and our Grants and Subsidies page explains each scheme.
Ask every provider who handles the application, because some leave it to the learner. We handle eligibility, paperwork and claims.
Who gets the most from an AI sales course?
Business owners, sales managers, account executives, business development representatives, revenue operations staff and retail managers get the most from it when they sell regularly and want to change how their daily work runs. A course suits people who will use the tools the following week.
Entry requirements differ by course. Ours asks for learners aged 21 or above with basic computer literacy, a GCE N, O or A Level or an NITEC or diploma with two or more years of work experience, working knowledge of sales, client or marketing workflows, English proficiency and a laptop for the hands-on exercises.
A course like this may not suit you if you want to write code or build your own AI models, or if you want a one-hour overview instead of a hands-on class. Our course does not teach coding and does not need any.
How does our AI for Sales course measure up against the checklist?
Mastering AI for Sales Growth and Team Dynamics (SSG course reference ID TGS-2025053114) is a two-day, 16-hour hands-on class where learners build their own AI sales system. It is WSQ-aligned, taught by practitioners and funded for eligible learners. The table follows the checklist above.
